Happy Holidays

Wishing all of you a happy holiday season.

With the events our world has experienced and the hardship that has fallen on many over this past year, I have decided to focus my holiday spirit more intensely this year on those who are less fortunate and in need of a helping hand.

The holidays seem to get so busy, getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of shopping, parties and events, it seems we can forget what is most important. I would like to ask all of you to consider a neighbor, a friend or family member that could use your help and allow yourself to sacrifice some of your time and perhaps gifts and instead of getting more, give to those who have very little. Remember those who are struggling to make ends meet in this holiday season. If you can not find someone, the food banks are a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer in this and any other season.

I am committed to giving a week’s worth of groceries to at least 2 families less fortunate than I. I am also committed to donating blankets and coats to the homeless that are in need during this cold winter season.

I have always felt the holiday season is a wonderful time to explore and remember how important it is to help one another and what we can do for others with love and compassion in our hearts. Forget the tabloids, Tiger Woods, Lindsey Lohan, the Kardashians and all the other dull chatter in the news and instead focus on the real news, that we are all part of an amazing family, the family of humanity and each of us has the power to activate change and create peace on earth and goodwill toward all. Wishing all of you the best holiday season and new year ever! Namaste’
